superclaim is not Niva Bupa; for your claim status, the official channels are the ones below, taken from transactions.nivabupa.com. We cannot see or change your claim on the insurer's systems.

Niva Bupa's official channels

We list only channels we could read on Niva Bupa's own website. We did not find a WhatsApp number stated for claims there, so it is left out.

Niva Bupa's website names the company as Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited (formerly Max Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited) (transactions.nivabupa.com/pages/grievance-redressal.aspx, checked 28 Sep 2026).

How to check it, step by step

  1. Keep your numbers ready. Find your claim or intimation number and your policy number. The claim number comes when the claim is logged; the policy number is on your schedule and health card.
  2. Open the official claim status page. Go to Niva Bupa's own claim status page at rules.nivabupa.com/customer-service/?page=claim_status. Check the address before you type anything.
  3. Enter what it asks for. The page asks for the claim ID sent by SMS.
  4. Read the status and act on it. Match the status to the table below. If there is a query, answer it in writing and keep proof of the date.

What you need to hand

  • Claim or intimation number. Given when the claim is logged, and printed on authorisation and query letters.
  • Policy number. On your policy schedule and your health card or e-card.
  • The patient's details as on the policy. Name and date of birth, spelled the same way.

Niva Bupa's claim status page asks for the claim ID sent by SMS (from transactions.nivabupa.com/claims/pages/claimdocupload.aspx, checked 28 Sep 2026).

What Niva Bupa's own pages say

These are from Niva Bupa's website. Your policy wording sets your deadline; if the two differ, follow the shorter one.

If the claim is stuck, cut or rejected

  1. Write to the insurer's grievance officer with your policy and claim numbers. The insurer must resolve it within 14 days.
  2. Register it on IRDAI's Bima Bharosa portal at bimabharosa.irdai.gov.in if you want it tracked. This step is optional.
  3. Go to the Insurance Ombudsman within one year if the insurer rejects your complaint, does not reply within a month, or replies in a way you do not accept.

The full steps are in our guide to what to do when a claim is rejected or cut.

How superclaim helps

Send us the status, the query letter or the settlement letter on WhatsApp. A person reads it, explains it in plain words, and tells you what the insurer is asking for and what to send back. We do not replace the insurer's channels, and we never ask for an OTP, card or bank details.
