How to check it, step by step
- Keep your numbers ready. Find your claim or intimation number and your policy number. The claim number comes when the claim is logged; the policy number is on your schedule and health card.
- Open the official claim status page. Go to Star Health's own claim status page at starhealth.in/claims/claim-status. Check the address before you type anything.
- Enter what it asks for. The page asks for claim number and the insured patient's date of birth.
- Read the status and act on it. Match the status to the table below. If there is a query, answer it in writing and keep proof of the date.
What you need to hand
- Claim or intimation number. Given when the claim is logged, and printed on authorisation and query letters.
- Policy number. On your policy schedule and your health card or e-card.
- The patient's details as on the policy. Name and date of birth, spelled the same way.

|---|---|---|
| Intimated | The insurer or its TPA has logged the claim and given it a number. | Note the claim or intimation number. Every follow-up needs it. |

| Query raised | The insurer or TPA wants more information or a document before it decides. | Read the query letter, send exactly what it asks for in writing, and keep proof of the date you sent it. |
| Approved or settled | Cashless: an amount is authorised. Reimbursement: the insurer has paid, or is paying, the amount shown. | Check the amount against your bill. Any cut must name the policy term behind it. |
| Rejected or partly settled | The insurer is paying nothing, or less than you claimed. | Ask for the specific policy clause relied on, then write to the insurer's grievance officer. |

How superclaim helps
Send us the status, the query letter or the settlement letter on WhatsApp. A person reads it, explains it in plain words, and tells you what the insurer is asking for and what to send back. We do not replace the insurer's channels, and we never ask for an OTP, card or bank details.
